Thursday Morning

Wootx. First of all today is National Day. So I wish Singapore a very happy birthday and hope for world peace and lesser hw!!!!

Well today or rather yesterday was rather frantic. Firstly due to the fact that my mum forgot to set the alarm clock the other night and hence I only woke up at 7am. I decided there was no time for me to bathe so I just washed my face and changed into attire to go to school. My dad sent me to the Lrt station and from then on was all as per normal.

School was rather dull today. Unlike our sec sch days where we had a more formal parade, the ceremony only included march in of the flag barriers and the singing of the national anthem, reciting of pledge and singing the theme song. The singing of the theme song had to happen twice because the teacher thought we weren't engaged in the activity. Enough of that, the concert sucks too. We were blocked by the teachers for most of the show.

After the celebration we had extra lesssons. I had a better understanding of Oscillation while PW makeup wasnt much help. After school I went home to rest awhile before going to play bball with lincoln and co. It has been like 3 weeks since i sprained my ankle and I thought I have recovered fully. Who knows that I will feel the pain again after balling? =/ I sort of sprained my last finger too, but it should recover by tommorow.

After bball I went home to bathe b4 going for the bB dinner. And should I say that life without soonhwee would be alot difference since we have got no people to be the clown.=/ LOL. Soonhwee initially wanted to have dinner with us at Lot1 but we already intend to eat at Bukit Timah. Hence he decided to go out with his hot date earlier lor LOL. After dinner we went pool and just went home. =))

Anyway, I thought what the principal said was correct. After so many years of singing the national anthem daily we are numbed by it. Only if I can get myself numbed from all things...
